SafeSlick™ is a uniquely blended Boron compound, specifically formulated to solve the most difficult molded part release applications AND unique high-temperature & high-pressure molding applications.

Mold Release Properties
SafeSlick™ can be custom thinned to your specifications and dries to an extremely thin, semi-permanent layer of 2 to 10 microns. SafeSlick™ imparts a friction coefficient of 0.15 to 0.3 for use with thin walled parts and very tight tolerances. SafeSlick™ can be applied with spray systems, by brushing, wiping or sponging and actually builds up over time to array the mold so eventually only spot touch-ups are required.

Mold Conditioning Properties
SafeSlick™ is an ideal mold conditioner to reduce wear on mold surfaces from abrasive polymers and composites like glass or graphite filled resins. For new molds, use it as part of your seasoning & conditioning procedure to enhance the initial start-up. SafeSlick™ can also be used to extend the life of a mold if it has reached the point were it can no longer be polished.
