The Adjustable Air Amplifier Tip delivers 25 times greater air flow than the actual compressed air input. In operation, compressed air is released at extremely high velocity through a ring-shaped orifice. This high-speed air entrains a large mass of surrounding still air, resulting in a much larger total air flow. The blow-off effect (sometimes called thrust or “punch”) per SCFM of compressed air consumed, is much larger than open compressed air jets, and noise is much lower.
